Get to Know Me
My story
I studied Leisure Tourism at college, and worked for a tour operator as a booking agent at the same time. My career took me in a different direction after that, but I’ve always tried to take my holidays in different places in the last 20 years. When I saw the franchise opportunity with Travel Counsellors I jumped at the chance to work back in Travel and I have been a Travel Counsellor for four years.
Why I do what I do
I enjoy working in the industry because it’s a topic most people enjoy and are enthusiastic about. Holidays are an important, memorable part of people’s lives and I love the fact that I get to help them experience something unique and memorable, something that they and their families look forward to all year and talk about for ages afterwards.
